Floral, tribal, animal: print wise pretty much anything goes.
If you are a fan of black (and we are) don’t be daunted by a sudden onslaught of colour and pattern, ease yourself into it like Nicole Richie in her Preen Line blazer and Chloe boots.
No talk of print would be complete without a Solange mention – that lady loves and works the hell out of print and colour. We have serious wardrobe envy.
Rashida Jones (in Thakoon), Kerry Washington (in Stella McCartney Pre-Fall 2012) and Nicole Richie (in House of Harlow) show that you don’t have to be a six foot glamazon to wear top to toe print – shorter ladies can wear it without being overwhelmed or swallowed up by it.
Annie Illonzeh and Zoë Saldana wear print in a very subtle way. Just in case all that pattern frightens you.
