Temporarily. Tinie Tempah is doing a Kanye and laying down his mic for a whole other set of tools. His management company Disturbing London has teamed up with street wear label MHI to create a range of t-shirts, shirts, trousers, shorts, jackets and hoodies.
He told the Evening Standard: “I love clothes and this brand expresses my style of street cool culture mixed with high-end fashion.”
We applaud Tinie’s pluck – the top 100 earners in hip hop in 2010 didn’t make all that money from selling albums – they diversified into clothing, fragrances, drinks – even condoms! Perhaps Tinie is thinking long term with his clothing venture and we love to champion an entrepreneurial spirit.
What do you think of Tinie’s foray into fashion?
