Anyone who knows us knows we are huge fans of Zara. We are also huge fans of Balmain and their slightly cheaper diffusion line, Pierre Balmain.
While browsing through www.ssense.com (our new online crush, move aside net-a-porter) we came across this gorgeous studded biker jacket from Pierre Balmain. It’s everything you need in a leather jacket:

It’s on trend in so many ways: its black (big for this season and rather surprisingly, an important colour for Spring/Summer 2013 too) it has a kind of rocker vibe with the studs which sets it apart from the myriad of other black leather jackets out there quite nicely.
The good thing about leather is that it never really goes out of fashion so you can happily wear this piece for seasons to come. This season wear it with oxblood skinny jeans, a statement knit and chunky boots for day or a pencil skirt, sexy exit heels (my new term for shoes where all the detail is at the back) and a thin cashmere blend sweater for the office.
