Review: Paul Mitchell Festival Kit

0 Comments 23 July 2012

As we aren’t really the festival type, we found another use for the Paul Mitchell Festival Kit.  All that public bathing, peeing in cups and lack of amenities does not a fun experience make. At least not to us.

We recognise we are in a shrinking minority in that respect – one of our BFFs had three gloriously muddy days in Glastonbury and loved it (and yes, she was black) – so we are open to persuasion. Said friend saw Queen Beyonce there which she assures us made the experience all worthwhile.

When we received a Paul Mitchell Festival Kit to review we wondered how we could do it justice. So instead of a festival kit, think of it as a holiday on the beach kit. We love a summer holiday to warmer climes and as we’re off on one shortly, we’re happily taking our Festival Kit with us.

The kit contains:

125ml Hold Me Tight Finishing Spray (for evening hair)
100ml Soft Sculpting Spray Gel (apply to damp curls after washing)
100ml The Conditioner (essential as the sun tries to fry your hair)
100ml Awuphi Moisture Mist (for beach face and body spritzing)
25ml Fast Form cream gel (slick your hair back into a pony when on the go)
Vogetti Hard Bristle Brush
Portable mp3 speakers (to annoy fellow bathers with unless you have a private beach)
Ink It Temporary Tattoos (cos we’re afraid to get a real one)
Large toiletries bag

All this costs £40 which we think is pretty reasonable. The Paul Mitchell Festival Kit is available from all good salons.
