Nine Best Dressed of 2011 According to US Vogue

0 Comments 25 November 2011

December and January are full of lists about the previous and upcoming year. We’re suckers for a good list; all those bullet points and things in order really floats our boat.

Oromo Elewa
Julia Sarr-Jamois

The first of our many lists begins with US Vogue – they are the purveyors of all things fashion’y so it seems like a good place to start.
Vogue say the following ladies are ‘cutting a path on the street and on the red carpet—and forging a personal style all their own’.

Julia Sarr-Jamois
Julia is Fashion Editor at Wonderland magazine and Vogue say she ‘wears quirky pieces by young London designers and ladylike outfits from larger houses with equal ease, often mixing in casual jeans and tees to create a look of relaxed glamour that captivates an audience of onlookers on the street and online. Her style M.O. is that of a young editor on the run.’

Oroma Elewa
Nigerian-born Oroma Elewa is Editor of Pop’ Africana and ‘is often inspired by patterns from her home in Africa; brilliantly coloured prints on turbans and frocks are her personal hallmark.’ She is a favourite of street style bloggers but she always appears at ease and on the verge of laughter which makes her a great subject.
