Grammy award winning artist and ‘aunt’ to Blue Ivy Carter, Kelly Rowland will be performing at Caribbean Fashion Week 2013 in Kingston, Jamaica on June 6th to 10th.
Caribbean Fashion Week 2013 is the Caribbean’s premier fashion and style event and welcomes designers from all over the world. The most famous offering is probably Cedella (daughter of Bob) Marley’s Catch a Fire, who designed the kit for the Jamaican Olympic team, including of course the pieces worn by Usain Bolt.
Kelly Rowland will give a full concert performance on Saturday June 8 in Kingston, Jamaica. She said: “I am looking forward once again to bringing my personal style, as well as my music, to the Caribbean’s big fashion event.”
Kelly is currently working on her upcoming fourth studio album ‘Talk a Good Game’ and will help bring international attention to Caribbean Fashion Week and to the region in general.
As if seeing and hearing Miss Kelly isn’t enough, Jamaican supermodel Jeneil Williams (US and Italian Vogue editorials and campaigns for Jean Paul Gaultier, Vivienne Westwood and Jimmy Choo) will be in attendance for her induction into Pulse Fashion and Beauty Hall of Fame.
Sunshine, supermodels and superstars, gotta get me to Jamaica in June!
