Tried & Tested: Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish

3 Comments 08 July 2012

We’ve had a bottle of Liz Earle’s Cleanse and Polish languishing sadly at the back of our beauty cupboard for a while now and after a particularly grimy day on London Underground, decided to give it a try.

Well it isn’t a cult product for nothing – the stuff is amazing! It contains all natural ingredients including camomile to smooth, cocoa butter to moisturise and beeswax to protect and relieve chapped skin.

The cleanser has won more than ten awards from places as diverse as Sunday Times Style and The Green Beauty Awards.

Using it is so easy; simply dispense two pumps of the cleanser – it has the consistency of a thick cream – into your hand and massage gently over your face and neck. We take off our eye make up first as we are rather (too?) fond of a bit of mascara but the cleanser does remove eye make up as well.

Wet the muslin cloth that comes with the cleanser in hot tap water and use it to ‘polish’ the cleanser off your face. The cloth acts like a gentle exfoliator and your skin looks and feels fresh and radiant after the first use.

Use it morning and night for baby smooth skin – we have tried a lot of cleansers in our time but Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish is without a doubt the best we have ever come across. It works for all ages and on all skin types and we are 100% hooked.

Prices start at £14.25 for a 100ml starter kit. Get yours from the Liz Earle website.
