Black never really goes out of fashion and we’re glad for it – it goes with everything, is slimming and has a certain chic ness about it. We aren’t the only ones; it’s a celebrity style trend that never goes away.
Black is particularly en vogue during the winter months, it’s used by most designers almost every Autumn/Winter. So far we have only catalogued the looks from NYFW but safe to say, black is a key colour for next Spring/Summer. This pleases us as over half of our wardrobe is made up of black garments.

‘Black in the summer?’ you might be thinking. Stylist magazine think this sombre colour could be a reflection on our collective mood; austerity, economic uncertainty and a general malaise about the future.

Keep black interesting by adding print, texture and cut-out detail. Wear it head to toe or just your accessories. Thankfully, black is a trend that never dies!
