London based Sapphires Model Agency is taking the rather unusual step of asking for more size 10 models to join their books.
They say there is such a shortage of strong size 10 models available in the UK that they often have to look abroad to fulfil clients requirements.
Neely Reyes, founder and MD of Sapphires Model Management, said: “We’re really not sure why it’s the way it is. Perhaps it’s the fact that the stereotypical image of a model is really skinny and so girls with a few curves don’t even try to get into the industry! The fact remains though that more and more clients are looking for size 10 models and there just isn’t the supply to meet the demand. I’ve often approached girls who I thought had great model potential but the response is always that they thought they were ‘too fat’ to model, which really isn’t true.”
If you are at least 5’8, a little larger than your standard model (size 4-6) and would like to model, get in touch with Sapphires – who knows where it will lead you?

Pfft. No. That show is rigged. They torrute a bunch of girls for the sake of entertainment then give em the boot and move along their way. I guess its the girls’ faults for joining anyways
