As we said goodbye to Jessica on Monday, can you believe we felt a little teary?! A model she was not (sorry J) but she seemed a genuinely nice person. Her photo didn’t seem that bad but niceness can only get you so far in an industry where your face is your fortune.

As we look at the final four, we think it’s really a two horse race between Jade and Juste. Imogen seems sweet enough but looks like the pretty girl we all went to school with and, not sure that it’s very PC to say, but Anastasija looks like any of the bevy of Eastern European models out there at the moment.

She’s very right now but not very future proof. Plus, she’s a horrible person!

We have warmed to Juste over the weeks but our money (and hopes!) are on Jade. Like Tyson said, she is different and on trend and we think she tries harder than anyone else on the show. Her large boobs don’t seem to have got in the way and with a face and body like hers; to us she is the rightful winner.

Britain & Ireland’s Next Top Model: The Final 13

Now the X-Factor style auditions and boot camp is over (a hopeful cry for more ratings if we’ve ever seen one), we finally meet the 13 girls who’ve made it into the model house.

Will Julian keep calling the black girls ‘athletic, toned, strong’ as if he were lining them up for manual labour? Will Grace hate on them like she did Kirsty last cycle?

Tune in every week and then visit Afro Boudoir where we’ll be discussing how they performed. And performed is the right word – this isn’t really a modelling competition, it’s a reality show.

Wow – we know her! This isn’t a great shot of her because she is actually a lot prettier than this. She has always been very slim and we often thought she’d end up modelling. By default we want her to win!

From Stoke on Trent

Love her freckles and red hair. It sounds clichéd but she does have a unique look.

Age 23
From London

The oldest of the bunch, we have reservations about her. During auditions we weren’t sure she had the face or the body for modelling but once you strip away the weave and the excessive make up, a pretty girl emerged. We’ll see.

Let’s just hope they don’t end the series with a drawn out, overblown live final like they did last year!

Ufoma is beautiful – very high hopes for her.

I am not so sure of the other two. Jade doesn't really say model to me, but I do love her look. Jessica is possibly a bit too athletic, she reminds me of old school models of the 80's. I'm not sure if her look is very modern. She also reminds me of Robin from ANTM cycle 1.

Saying this, I quite like Elle's selection for this year. I think she had an aim to cast quirky and different looking models, I'm happy about this as I feel that last years selection wasn't very strong. I'm glad Tiff won though!
