Where Spring/Summer was all about candy colours, this season make up takes a darker turn. How does this translate into beauty for black women?
Say hello to plum, merlot and black cherry. Over at Gucci, make up maestro Pat McGrath lined the mouth with a deep plum, filled the bud of the mouth in the red and finished the look off with a touch of gloss.
Over at Pucci they mixed MAC Lipmix in Black with its Lip Conditioner. We don’t recommend black lipstick but when diluted with a red, it can certainly work.
Chanel make up ambassador Kay Montano advises using a small lipstick brush to paint the colour onto lips, starting from the middle outwards. If your lipstick tends to bleed, she recommends powdering your lips first.
Define your brows, apply a little kohl and a neutral eye shadow and you’re good to go – a glamorous, super sexy look.

I think I prefer the darker tones. Obviously it depends on the look as a whole but the candy colours seemed a tad too harsh. just a tad mind.
