Another day, another fabulous H&M collaboration.
Fashion darling Anna Dello Russo (her proper title is Fashion Director at Large and creative consultant at Vogue Japan) is to design an ‘over-the-top’ accessories collection for H&M.
Anna is whatever the opposite of a shrinking violet is – she’s known for her flamboyant outfits, out of this world accessories and for being one of the few fashion editors to publicly wear (and say they liked) Kayne West’s S/S 2012 collection.
Her range for H&M, available from October 4 2012, will include jewellery, sunglasses, shoes, bags and a trolley rather oddly.
Anna is a favourite of street style bloggers, particularly during fashion weeks, when she’s known to change her outfit, hair and shoes several times a day. It’s safe to say her range for H&M will be anything but boring!
She said of the collaboration: “I am excited by this collaboration: this is the first time H&M involves a Fashion Director in a special project. This is the sign of an important evolution in fashion, and I am both thrilled and humbled to be the one chosen to lead it. I wanted to create precious accessories that are impossible to find. As a stylist I know accessorization is essential: it is the personal touch to any outfit. With these pieces everybody can have fun, turning an ordinary day into a fantastic fashion day.”
Gotta love the word accessorization and that she wants to turn your average dreary Thursday into a ‘fantastic fashion day’.
Mark October 4 in your diaries ladies.
